Friday I went to Mucho Burrito for lunch. I decided to get a chicken burrito – usually I get quesadillas when I’m there. I’m glad I decided to get something different, cause the burrito was delicious!
Friday night the boyfriend and I went out for sushi at Sho for date night. The gyoza were especially tasty. Afterwards we ended up watching The Recruit with Al Pacino.
Saturday night I was invited to the Flames/Oilers game with a friend’s dad. Of course I had to wear my jersey to the Saddledome.
The game was being broadcast on Hockey Night in Canada, so Don Cherry was at the game, in one of his signature colourful suits. Apparently HNIC has been on TV for 60 years. I had no idea it was that old.
There’s a huge rivalry between the Flames and the Oilers, so I knew it was going to be a great game. The Flames won their first game of the season (finally), 4 – 3 over Edmonton.
Sunday morning the boyfriend and I went out for brunch. I got pancakes (very tasty but really filling). I spent the rest of the day cleaning and reading. I got pulled in for the second half of this book, and I’m just a hundred pages from the end. I can’t wait to find out what happens to all the characters.

I love Mucho Burrito! I always seem to get the bare burrito bowl. The pork is my favourite!
