The walk with my friend Friday afternoon was an awesome start to the weekend – it was just what I needed to relax and spend some quality time with her talking. It wasn’t too cold, so that was nice too.

The horror movie and Chinese food with the boyfriend didn’t happen. It ended up being the first Harry Potter movie and pizza. I think the boyfriend and his roommates were going to turn the night into a Harry Potter marathon, but I ended up leaving cause I can’t sit still long enough to watch more than one movie.

The White Queen The Red Queen November 26 2012

Saturday I ended up at the used book store and bought the first two books in the Cousins’ War series by Philippa Gregory. I’ve read quite a few books by her already, and really enjoyed them, so I thought these were a pretty safe bet.

Sunday was pretty laid back, just cleaning, laundry, and some Christmas baking. I now have three things crossed off my list, and six more to go! I have to label all my Christmas baking “Do not eat” once it goes into the freezer, otherwise a big chunk of it will disappear before Christmas.

Since Calgary was playing in the Grey Cup yesterday, there was a lot of coverage about it on the radio and on TV. I’m not a football person, so I’m kind of happy it’s over.

I’m babysitting for two of my favourite kids tonight, so I’m pretty excited about that. I’m sure there will be at least one or two tea parties while I’m there.

Did you watch the Grey Cup? What are you looking forward to this week?
