For Christmas I got an iTunes gift card from my dad. In my excitement to redeem it, I didn’t read the instructions on the back of the card, and ended up taking off the sticker hiding the redemption code instead of scratching it. By pulling it off, it took some of the code off with it. Yeah, I was pretty bummed about it.
I mentioned it to a friend last week, and she asked if I still had the card. When I said I did, she told me I could email iTunes support and see if they could help me out.
So that’s exactly what I did yesterday, and before I knew it they had emailed me back with the code! I got down to work immediately trying to figure out what I wanted to download.
Maybe it’s just me, but I always find shopping harder when I’m using a gift card. I didn’t pay for it, so I think I should spent it really well. It took me a lot longer than I thought it would be figure out what I wanted to get.
I finally decided on The Sea of Memories album by Bush, Eminem’s Recovery, and Pearl Jam’s cover of Love, Reign O’er Me. Needless to say, my iPod and ears are very happy right now.
