I’ve finally figured out what I’m giving up for Lent. Sweets. Everything from candy to cookies. I might have a slight obsession with Twizzlers. They’re really the only candy I eat, but I eat a lot of them. Like once a week. It’s crazy. My body does NOT need that much sugar. Not to mention the money that I could save if I didn’t buy them. $3 a week is $150 a year. That’s a lot of money I could be using for something else.

I have a huge sweet tooth, so this is definitely going to be hard. But I can do it. I know I can. 40 days isn’t forever. I think the first week or two is going to be the hardest.

Who knows, maybe once I make it to Easter sugar won’t be such a huge thing for me.
