This morning I ran for the first time in two or three weeks. Yeah, it’s been bad. Pathetic even, but this morning I ran.
And let me tell you, it was hard. Really really hard. I had to lower the incline. I had to lower the speed. I didn’t even do the whole thing. I only did 3 of the 4 intervals I was supposed to do. My legs felt like they weighed about 10,000 lbs each. My chest felt tight.
But you know what? I ran even though it was hard. And I ended up feeling pretty good about it. It was tough but I still did it. It would have been really easy to go back to bed, but instead I got dressed and got on the treadmill.
Worst Run Ever
Just have to say that just the fact that you ran is awesome! I saw a motivational pic the other day that said, “No matter how slow you think you’re going, you’re lapping everyone on the couch”. So you’re still lapping everybody on the couch or in bed and probably lapping me to. :) I hope I can eventually work my way up to running. Glad I stumbled upon your blog. :)
