In the mean time here’s what I made yesterday.
I got the recipe here from Martha Stewart, and changed it a bit. I added fresh cranberries, left out the lemon zest, and replaced the lemon juice with water. I love that this recipe makes two pound cakes.
The hardest part for me is always taking them out of the loaf pans, and this time only a little bit on one corner got stuck in the pan, you can hardly even notice it.
They’re now both in the freezer (hopefully safe from my family), waiting for Christmas. It’s hard to believe it’s this weekend already.
