Banff

It’s feeling very wintry here today. There’s lots of snow on the ground and the wind is howling. It’s not actually all that cold, but it still definitely feels like winter. So I thought I’d share some photos of a hike I did in Banff in September when is was warm and sunny out.

According to the GPS, the parking lot was in the lake. I had to take a photo.

There were tons of picnic tables around this lake, and really, you can’t get much better scenery than this for lunch.

When I was standing there this mountain seemed to incredibly huge. I remember thinking that there’s no way that it’s hugeness is going to translate into the photo.

I could totally live in the mountains. I hate small towns, but I think I could do it if I could wake up to a view like this every morning.
