Hiking in a Ghost Town

These photos are from way back in September when I was in the mountains hiking. This time we ended up at a ghost town. We had to go down this hill to get to it.

There was a path that took you around to see the different buildings that were still partly standing. It was pretty impressive considering some of the buildings were 100 years old.

It was very eerie walking around. It felt weird seeing buildings that were half gone.

You can see why people were willing to come here to work in the mine, even though it was hard work. The views are amazing. I would love to wake up to this every morning.

This was all that was left of the church.
