Last week I made some delicious granola bars. I’d never tried making them before, but they turned out really good. Instead of using honey or maple syrup to hold them together, the recipe used caramel, which I’d never made before so I was a little nervous about it.
It was actually a lot easier than I thought it was going to be, and the directions were really clear and easy to follow. That made it a lot less stressful.
They were perfectly chewy without falling apart while you were trying to eat them. It’s amazing the difference making them at home makes compared to the ones you get at the grocery store.
There were a couple variations in the cookbook, and I think next time I might try the ones with the cranberries. Cause you can’t go wrong with cranberries.
I love making home made granola bars! They’re way cheaper than those in the store and delicious!
