That’s my trusty water bottle. He comes to work with. Yeah, he might look a little beat up (I’ve dropped him quite a few times), but he still works.
Why am I showing you a picture of my water bottle? Cause I drink a lot of water. I’ve found that one key to my weight loss is making sure that I get enough water everyday. That usually means 8 to 10 glasses every day.
When I first started trying to get in 8 glasses of water a day I found it kind of hard. I felt like I was constantly drinking. But eventually I got used to it, and now it feels normal. In fact, it feels weird if I don’t get as much water as I usually do. Having my water bottle with me at work definitely helps me get my water.
I rarely drink anything other than water now. To be honest, I’d rather eat my calories instead of drink them. Not to mention that water makes me feel a lot more refreshed than pop or juice.
I’ve always loved water, but I got out of the habit of drinking it during the workday because I couldn’t go to the bathroom (ah, the joys of teaching…). I’ve never understood people who don’t like water! It’s like not liking air.
I’ve gotten to where I feel so thirsty if I don’t drink at least 8 cups a day. Like I’ll be craving it by the time I’m about to go to bed. And that is NOT a good time to be gulping down water! Ha!
