Today was an absolutely beautiful fall day. Because I work outside, I got to enjoy all of its awesomeness.
Okay, I’ll admit, it was a bit chilly this morning, til the sun decided to come out. But once it warmed up it was perfect. The sun was shining, but I still needed a hoodie on. It even sounded like fall with the leaves starting to drop, every step was crunchy. It was perfect.
Fall is my favorite season. It makes me think of warm quilts, hot chocolate, apple cider, and Thanksgiving.
There’s a park not too far from my house that I love to go walking in. It goes along the river, so there’s lots of beautiful views. There’s a paved trail as well as lots of unpaved ones. There’s even a boardwalk to a little waterfall. I haven’t been there in a few weeks, but I bet it’s really pretty right now with all the leaves changing. I should go tomorrow after work.
Another run is in the books. Once again I felt amazing after. I don’t know why that feeling is so hard to remember when my alarm goes off and it’s time to get up in the morning. I’m thinking part of it is because I need to go to bed earlier.
