It’s been awhile since I last posted a Weekly Workouts post, so I thought today would be the perfect time to start it back up again. I’m hoping to get more gym workouts in the next two months. I bought a pass for the gym at my university, so I’ll be able to do some workouts there. I’m definitely looking forward to more time deadlifting and cardio on the bike and elliptical.

Weekly Workouts

Sunday // I’m still learning some Zumba choreography. Slowly but surely I’m picking it up, but it’s definitely taking longer than I though. I spent an hour learning one song.

Monday // I did a Jessica Smith YouTube workout, but I can’t seem to remember which one. I usually try to bookmark them so I can share them in my Weekly Workout posts, but I must have forgotten to. Anyways it left me huffing and puffing so I clearly worked hard, which is what matters.

Tuesday // I did part of the Ashtanga primary series before work. It’s been awhile since I last did yoga first thing in the morning and it felt amazing. I need to do it more often.

Wednesday // Rest day.

Thursday // More Zumba choreography. I spent the first part of my workout going through the song that I learned on Sunday before starting on another one.

Friday // I made up my own yoga flow to start off the weekend. It felt great to do whatever I wanted instead of going into the practice with a plan. I ended with an extra long savasana.

Saturday // Rest day. I didn’t sleep very well Friday night, so I opted to skip my workout this morning. Boo for only 4 hours of sleep!

Although I didn’t make it to the gym this week for a workout (I was there however for one of my classes), the plan is to head over there tomorrow morning before I spend most of the rest of the day doing homework. I’m hoping that getting in some activity first thing will help me sit at my computer longer later on.
