Hello and happy Friday! Is everyone else as happy as I am that it's Friday? I managed to get in a bunch of internship hours this week which I'm really grateful for. Thursday morning I led a group fitness class with a couple classmates for an assignment. There were a fee hiccups but I think overall it went pretty good. Public speaking isn't my favorite, so needless to say I'm glad that's done. It's been cold and snowy here this week, so it's not feeling much like March, let alone spring. Thankfully it's supposed to warm up next week so I'm definitely looking forward to higher temperatures and having the snow melt. And now onto Friday Favorites!
Baking // Monday afternoon after I got home I was in the mood to bake. I can't even remember the last time I did it, even though I love baking. I decided to go with chocolate chip cookies. Even though I've made this recipe a million times, but the cookies always turn out so good. The next time I need a break from homework I'll have to remember to do some baking.
Getting feedback // That group fitness assignment I mentioned? I got some really good feedback about how I did. Apparently I'm now a lot more confident than I was even back in September. I was told that it was obvious that I've been working on coming across more sure of myself. Even though I'm almost done this program, I still don't feel like I'm a “fitness expert”. But at the same time I've learned so much over the last year and a half.
Hot chocolate // I made a hot chocolate run to Tim Horton's this afternoon. I was out doing errands this morning and I just couldn't warm up despite my winter boots and coat.
Neutrogena Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover // I'd tried another brand of eye makeup remover, but it wasn't cutting it, so I went back to my go to Neutrogena one (affiliate link). It was super frustrating to try to use the other brand that clearly wasn't working. I'd wake up to find mascara on my pillow. I knew there was a reason I liked the Neutrogena one so much – it takes off my makeup without irritating my sensitive skin. Lesson learned: if it's working don't try something else. Check out this post about my favorite skincare products.
Anne // There's a new Anne TV series coming out soon! Anne of Green Gables is one of my favorite characters from a book – she's right up there with Mr Darcy (Pride and Prejudice), Hermione and Snape (Harry Potter), and Heather (Heather Wells series). I'm really excited to see how they decide to do this TV series. So many people love the books, I'm sure there's a lot of pressure to get it just right.
