Mix the wet and dry ingredients together. Then add the chocolate. I used chocolate chips because they were in the pantry, but the recipe calls for semi-sweet chocolate squares chopped up. I’m usually lazy and end up using chocolate chips in situations like this.
I almost always roll cookie dough into balls before I bake it. The cookies always seem to come out rounder and prettier when I do this. I’ve even been asked “how do you get the cookies so round?” That’s my no-so-secret secret.

Cool completely on a wire rack. Yes, we still have an Easter table cloth on the dining room table. We’re just cool like that.
Store in an air tight container. And eat
one or two while you’re putting them into the container.
